Attorneys Drew Wagner-Weir and Grace Bransen successfully dissolved two temporary restraining orders brought against two individual clients. As part of a bitterly contested series of lawsuits the clients were confronted with two temporary restraining orders, with the primary witness against them being a person suing them in a separate action (and seeking an appeal in a third action that the clients successfully prosecuted). Mr. Wagner-Weir and Ms. Bransen appeared for the clients in court, cross-examined the accusing witnesses, and ultimately secured a favorable outcome when the court found that orders were not supported by sufficient evidence under the applicable burden of proof. The victory marks a turning point in the clients’ ongoing efforts to vindicate themselves.
